Infection prevention is the name of the game as far as we’re concerned here at ImageFIRST New Jersey. And of course, that mentality applies to much more beyond the healthcare uniforms we provide to NJ medical facilities. Healthcare-acquired infections (HAI) are a serious issue in healthcare: one out of every 25 patients is infected with an HAI every year, costing the industry as a whole around $45 billion.
At ImageFIRST New Jersey, we want to be more than an ordinary supplier of sheets, gowns, curtains, and scrubs for healthcare in NJ. The ordinary supplier is one who takes your payment, drops off your linen, and leaves—hardly to be heard from until pick-up time. That kind of impersonal service isn’t what we’re about. Our mission is to be nothing short of remarkable. We want to be the kind of company that isn’t represented by your invoice, but by the smiles on the faces of our Customer Advocates as they arrive to stock your linen and-double check your inventory, or by the delight your patients express when they put on one of our Comfort Care gowns for the first time.

Pyrek, revealed the results of a survey, where they asked several hospital leaders in the C-suite, as well as infection preventionists (IPs), to answer questions related to environmental hygiene and preventing healthcare-associated infection. In fact, Infection Control Today asked both the hospital leaders in the C-suite and IPs the same set of questions. When the results of the surveys finally came in, the magazine was able to determine that both parties viewed issues related to hygiene and healthcare-associated infection in almost the same exact way.
